Recycling mode...
Crochet containers looks cozy and areveasy to make. For me it was to get over with the Yarns, which I'm not using any more...not so fond of doing these items. But the outcome was tempting. Liked the finished product.
It gives me inspiration to collect all the cosmetic bottles and make vase out of them. Vase? anything...pen stand, jewelry box, well basically a container. If you like sound less usage of items this is best way to avoid sounds the container makes! That's one major benefit I find. Can make it more fancier by adding flowers, or other applique on the container!
Coming soon!
I tried lady bug theme, any other can also be tried whichever the kid likes :) Easy said than done...my daughter asks for Chota Bheem, Nobita...all those which I can't think of as theme...finally she now know her Mamma can only at the max do Lady bug, Kitty cat!

Tried with Kitchen tissue roll, this is not so elegant...but is useful as you can see...
This pencil box looks cute!

Work on T shirt
My daughter is very picky about her dresses. Yes of course at the age of 4 we think we can choose their cloths based on our liking, well I go wrong most often. This is one such T shirt. How I thought she likes Porcupine, and will definitely like them on T shirt. She is always reluctant to wear this. On probing I got to know it is not the Design its the length of sleeves that she dislikes ....what??? Anyways, so I checked with her if I reduce the length will she wear it? She agreed...and I always wanted to experiment crochet with T shirt, what a knock of Opportunity...so here we go!
First thing I cut the sleeves
As tester, added bit of work at the base,
A closer look,

And the final look,well almost....
The final look must be Dhriti wearing it :)
Flowers...pretty flowers

Flowers... being all time favorite, here are some with colorful attempt. I went little easy on color choice, not sure if too bright colors may look good on paper work.
In making ...
Almost ready,
Single petal and double petal variants....

And the items used to make these ....well I used most of the thread....

Key chains
What best way to use small crochet stuffed items. It is nice to hold these cute things and best way to do that is have them on keychains.
The Owl with additional accessories like jingle and beads adds to the look. Turtle is adorable. I've made few more (will upload photo's soon)
with fenugeek filled inside, that is therapeutic.

Colorful hangings!
Crochet home decor is always popular, but this one is different isn't it? I love it so much. If I show you the threads I used to make them you will never get this feeling. It was just that the combination and the finishing that gives it the look.
This is my first attempt at bright and colorful crochet work. It is just so much fun to try out my hand at colors, unfortunately these bleed, hence I had no other option to put them together something like this.
The beads are from Itsy bitsy and I just go gaga about them when in shop and keep pick up handful every time I visit the store. And they end up unused at home, either a play thing for my daughter or one among them on crochet bracelet or so.
It goes well with the color blend. Giving me reasons to pick more from store. I even went on browsing for more beads.
And this is how it looks when I hang it, I couldn't figure out an ideal place for it yet. However even before I could finish it Dhriti has snatched it and put it on her Crib.
